1. Request data deletion

To request deletion of personal information connected to Oriko, email [email protected] with the subject line Data deletion request.

Please include:

  • your full name;
  • the email address connected to Oriko or used to contact Oriko;
  • your company or workspace name, if relevant;
  • the Meta Business, ad account, Page or Instagram account involved, if relevant;
  • a short description of the data you want deleted.
Fastest route

Use the same email address you used with Oriko. This helps us verify the request and prevents someone else from deleting information they do not control.

2. Meta, Facebook and Instagram connected data

Oriko may connect to Meta products such as Meta Ads, Facebook Pages, Instagram accounts or Meta Business assets when a customer authorises that connection. Oriko uses those connections to help customers measure marketing performance, reconcile spend and understand customer journeys.

If you want to remove Oriko's access to Meta data, you can:

  1. remove Oriko from your Meta, Facebook or Instagram business settings where the connection was authorised;
  2. disconnect the Meta integration inside your Oriko workspace, where available;
  3. email [email protected] and ask us to delete Meta-connected data linked to your workspace or account.

If you reached this page from Meta's app settings, emailing us is enough to start the deletion process. We may ask for additional details to confirm which account, workspace or Meta asset the request relates to.

3. What Oriko can delete

Website and sales data Demo requests, early-access submissions, contact details, support messages and related website records where Oriko controls the data.
Account data User profile information, workspace access, invite details and authentication-related records that are no longer required.
Connected-platform data Platform connection records, access tokens and data imported from authorised platforms such as Meta, Google, Shopify, CRM or analytics tools.
Product data Event data, identifiers, reports, audiences and journey data where Oriko is authorised to delete it or where the relevant customer instructs Oriko to delete it.

Where deletion is not possible immediately, Oriko may restrict, de-identify, anonymise or schedule the data for deletion from active systems and backups.

4. Customer product data

Oriko is a B2B product. When a customer uses Oriko to process customer events, platform data, reports or audiences, Oriko generally acts as an operator or processor for that customer.

If your personal information was sent to Oriko by one of our customers, we may need to forward your request to that customer or process it according to that customer's instructions. The customer remains responsible for deciding whether and how the data should be deleted, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

5. Timelines

We aim to acknowledge deletion requests within 5 business days and complete valid deletion requests within 30 days where reasonably possible.

Some requests may take longer if the request is complex, involves customer-controlled data, requires identity verification, affects security records or must be retained for legal, tax, audit, dispute or fraud prevention reasons.

6. Verification and safety

Before deleting data, Oriko may need to verify your identity, authority, email address, workspace access, company role or ownership of the relevant connected platform.

This protects users, customers and Oriko from unauthorised deletion, account takeover, accidental data loss or deletion requests submitted by people who do not have the right to act for a workspace or business.

7. Limits, backups and contact

Oriko may retain limited information where needed to comply with law, enforce agreements, resolve disputes, maintain security, prevent fraud, keep audit records, process billing, honour opt-out requests or meet legitimate business obligations.

Deleted data may remain in encrypted backups or logs for a limited period until those systems rotate or are securely overwritten. During that time, it is not used for active product features.

For privacy questions, deletion requests or Meta app review queries, contact [email protected]. You can also read the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
